Welcome to Bear Real Estate Sales LLC, proudly established in 2023 and owned and operated by Curt and Penny Scroggins!

As lifelong Monroe County residents and the proud owners of Bear Hardware in beautiful Brown County, we’ve spent decades building relationships and serving our community. Our entrepreneurial journey began in 1990 when we purchased Cakes, Candies & Things—a beloved local bakery in Bloomington. In 1999, we took on a new adventure with Bear Hardware in Nashville, Indiana. Both ventures were blessings to our family and strengthened our love for small business and customer service.

Now, as “empty nesters,” we’ve turned our focus to another lifelong passion: real estate. In 2017, Penny began her real estate career, with Curt joining her soon after—because teamwork has always been at the heart of everything we do.
